Rundell Ato is born in the historic UNESCO-inscribed Heritage City of Vigan in Ilocos Sur. He is a Web & Graphic Designer by profession who found his passion in photography in May of 2007 and joined the DPP July of the same year. He actively shares photos, comments and critiques in the “Share your D40 shots” thread. It is in this thread he learned a lot and even met his Renegade friends.
Rundell is very passionate in photography. Some of his photographs have been published/printed by Digital Photographer Philippines Magazine, Issue #30 DPP Talks about Water, Issue #37 Capture the Wild Section – Local Wildlife Photography, I-Mag Photography Magazine Issue #26 and Shoot to Move the Nation Book.
He has been chosen as one of 44 finalists in the Water is Life Photo Contest (DILG) and one of the top 100 finalists in the Shoot to Move the Nation Photo Contest.
Last year, Rundell is one of the finalists in the Travel Category of the DPP 5th Anniversary Live Judging Photo Contest.
This year he was again part of the DPP 6th Anniversary Live Judging Photo Contest under the Reportage and Body Beautiful category, which he won.
Rundell resides in Quezon City and works as an independent, freelance photographer and a Web Developer.
